Spicy Green Tea Grilled Broccoli

- 1 lb. broccoli
- 2 Tbsp canola oil
- 1 Tbsp loose green tea
- 1 fresh red chile pepper, cut into strips
- 1 Tbsp rice wine, dry sherry or Mirin
- salt/pepper
Wash and cut up broccoli. Heat oil in non-stick stovetop grill; add green tea and grill until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add the chile and broccoli and grill until broccoli browns, about 5 minutes. Turn occasionally with spatula to grill all sides of the broccoli. Add the wine and season with salt and pepper; grill couple more minutes (I would think you could also stir-fry this).
